Is LV Pet Hotel the same as LV Dog Hotel or LV Dog Resort?
Yes. LV Pet Hotel is the Sandhill Road location of LV Dog Hotel, also known as LV Dog Resort, and was previously called LV Dog Hotel Two, LV Dog Hotel II and LV Dog Resort II.

How long has LV Dog Hotel been in business?
LV Dog Hotel has served Las Vegas since 2009, more than 17 years, and was the city’s original luxury pet boarding facility.
With two large facilities, it is one of the largest dog boarding operations in Las Vegas. LV Pet Hotel is its newest and most modern building.
Does LV Pet Hotel use cages or kennels?
No. Every dog at LV Pet Hotel stays in a private suite, and every cat stays in a private Cat Condo. There are no cages, crates, runs or shared kennels.
Who is the LV Pet Hotel dog team?
LV Pet Hotel’s care standards are shaped by an in-house team of five dogs, each representing a part of how the hotel runs.
Sweetie, a high-energy German Shepherd, sets the standard for a well-played, tired dog. Fluffy, the senior dog, guides senior care and private attention. Coraline, who loves comfort, sets the cleanliness standard. Daisy, the tiniest and loudest, sets the luxury standard. Annabelle, a jumper and climber with dark red curls, is head of protection and guides safety and containment.

What are LV Pet Hotel’s hours?
LV Pet Hotel is open 7 AM to 7 PM every day for drop-off and pickup, 365 days a year, including holidays. Phones are answered 7 AM to 5 PM daily.
Hours stay the same year-round, with no special holiday closures.
What time is check-in and check-out for boarding?
Boarding check-in is anytime from 7 AM to 7 PM, 7 days a week, and check-out is 11 AM.
Late checkout is $19 per pet and allows pickup until 6:30 PM.
Can I tour LV Pet Hotel before booking?
Yes. Tours need no reservation and are offered Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 2:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
For safety, pets are not allowed on tours.

Dog boarding at LV Pet Hotel ranges from $42 per night for the Mini Suite to $169 per night for the Pawhouse Suite (also called the Penthouse), plus $39 per night for each additional dog.

What dog boarding suites does LV Pet Hotel offer?
LV Pet Hotel has six private dog suite levels: Mini Suite $42, Petite Suite $64, Classic Suite $74, Luxury Suite $99, Royal Suite $119 and Pawhouse Suite (Penthouse) $169 per night.
The Mini Suite is for dogs under 20 pounds, the Petite Suite is for dogs under 25 pounds, and the Royal Suite is designed for families of two or more dogs. Each additional dog is $39 per night.
Are there hidden fees for playtime or extras?
No. LV Pet Hotel has a no-hidden-fees policy: unlimited playtime, breakfast and dinner, snacks, medication administration, bedding and a bath before pickup are included in every boarding stay.
Can dogs from the same family share a suite?
Yes. Dogs from the same household can share a suite at LV Pet Hotel, and each additional dog is $39 per night.
The Royal Suite is designed for families of two or more playful dogs.

What is included in dog boarding at LV Pet Hotel?
Every LV Pet Hotel boarding stay includes a private suite, unlimited supervised playtime, breakfast and dinner, snacks, fresh water changed at least twice daily, comfortable bedding, free medication administration and a complimentary bath before pickup.
Dogs also get at least three potty breaks a day, with more on request.
Does my dog get a bath before going home?
Yes. Every dog boarding at LV Pet Hotel gets a complimentary bath before checkout, so your dog goes home clean and fresh at no extra cost.
Is there a charge for giving my dog medication?
No. LV Pet Hotel gives medication free of charge during every boarding stay. Bring medications in their original containers with clear instructions.
How often do dogs go outside for potty breaks?
Dogs at LV Pet Hotel get at least three potty breaks a day and can have more on request.
Dogs are rotated to the potty area about every hour and a half, one family at a time for privacy, and staff clean up promptly.
Meals, Treats and Water
When are dogs fed at LV Pet Hotel?
Dogs are served breakfast and dinner in the privacy of their own suite, with dinner typically at 5 PM.
At check-in, staff ask what time your dog usually eats so they can keep your dog’s routine.
Should I bring my dog’s food?
Yes. LV Pet Hotel recommends bringing your dog’s regular food so they avoid an upset stomach from a sudden diet change.
Does LV Pet Hotel provide treats?
Yes. LV Pet Hotel has treats on hand, and you’re welcome to bring your dog’s favorite treats too.
Play, Supervision and Updates
Is playtime included with dog boarding?
Yes. Unlimited supervised playtime is included in every LV Pet Hotel boarding stay, with play groups separated by dog size.
Is LV Pet Hotel supervised?
Yes. Trained staff supervise every play group, and LV Pet Hotel is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Any dog that needs a break is taken to its private suite to rest.
What if my dog doesn’t like other dogs?
Dogs who prefer not to play in groups get private playtime with staff before bedtime, so they still burn energy and sleep well.
LV Pet Hotel also offers Day Stay for daytime care without group play.
Will I get updates while my pet is boarding?
Yes. LV Pet Hotel sends updates, including pictures, during your pet’s stay, and you can view report cards in your online account.
Can I visit my dog during their stay?
LV Pet Hotel keeps visits to a minimum for security and liability reasons. Dogs also tend to settle in and have more fun with uninterrupted time with their new friends.
Can my pet get extra one-on-one attention?
Yes. One-on-one pampering is $10 per day and is available for both dogs and cats, with extra personal time with staff such as private play or belly rubs.
Vaccinations and Health Requirements
What vaccinations does my dog need to board at LV Pet Hotel?
Dogs must be vaccinated for Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper-Parvo (combination vaccine) and Canine Influenza to board or attend daycare at LV Pet Hotel.
Any vaccine that is due must be given before check-in.
What vaccinations does my cat need?
Cats must have up-to-date vaccination records from their veterinarian before boarding at LV Pet Hotel.
How do I send my pet’s vaccination records?
Have your veterinarian email records to [email protected], or upload them directly to your LV Pet Hotel online account before your pet’s first visit.
Do you charge more for dogs that are not spayed or neutered?
No. LV Pet Hotel does not charge more for intact dogs, though special arrangements may be needed for the safety of other guests.
Can my dog board while in heat?
No. LV Pet Hotel does not accept dogs that are in heat.
Can LV Pet Hotel decline a pet?
Yes. LV Pet Hotel may decline any pet without proof of required vaccinations, with signs of a contagious or untreated condition, or showing aggressive behavior.
What to Bring
What should I bring for my dog’s stay?
Bring your dog’s food, any medications, treats if you’d like and one small toy.
LV Pet Hotel supplies everything else, including bedding and bowls.
Can I bring my dog’s bed, blanket or bowls?
No. LV Pet Hotel does not accept beds, blankets or food and water bowls. Bowls are washed at least twice daily, and personal items can get lost among many guests.
Long-Term Boarding
Does LV Pet Hotel offer long-term dog boarding?
Yes. LV Pet Hotel offers long-term boarding with bonus nights: book 10 nights and get 2 free, 20 nights and get 6 free, or 30 nights and get 11 free.
Long-term packages are available in the Classic, Luxury, Royal and Pawhouse Suites, starting at $740 for 12 nights in a Classic Suite. Each additional dog is $39 per night.
Is there a minimum stay?
No. LV Pet Hotel has no minimum stay. Dogs can board for one night or for weeks or months, and long-term packages add free bonus nights.
Dog Daycare and Day Stay
Does LV Pet Hotel offer dog daycare?
Yes. Dog daycare at LV Pet Hotel is $30 per day and $15 for each additional dog, with supervised play groups separated by size.
Daycare bundles are 10 days for $250, 30 days for $600 and 100 days for $1,500, and new guests who are Nevada residents can ask about a free first day.
What is Day Stay?
Day Stay is $30-per-day care in a private suite for dogs or cats who shouldn’t join group play, such as shy pets or pets recovering from surgery. It is daytime only, not overnight.
Cat Hotel
Does LV Pet Hotel board cats?
Yes. LV Pet Hotel is the only LV Dog Hotel location with a Cat Hotel: six private Cat Condos, three with windows, separated from the dogs.
Cat boarding is $74 per night for the first cat and $39 for each additional cat in the same condo. Each Cat Condo is the size of a Classic Suite and has cat trees.
Can my cat and dog board together?
Yes. Bonded cats and dogs from the same family can board together. Call (702) 903-7387 to choose the right suite.
Booking and Policies
How far in advance should I book?
Most dogs can be booked just 1 to 2 weeks ahead at LV Pet Hotel, even for major holidays, because the LV Dog Hotel family runs two large facilities.
Cat Condos are limited to six, so book those earlier.
How do I make a reservation?

Does LV Pet Hotel offer pet pickup or drop-off?
No. LV Pet Hotel does not offer transportation, but local Las Vegas pet transport companies can take your pet to and from the hotel.
